FDA Releases Emergency Preparedness Resource for Patients Using Devices Requiring Electricity

In its continuing efforts to provide helpful resource materials to individuals using medical devices in the home, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) posted it latest publication Home Use Devices: How to Prepare for Handle Power Outages for Medical Devices that Require Electricity.

This booklet serves as a tool for use by patients using devices that require electricity in the development of a plan to ensure that they know what to do during a power outage.
