Test Your Aides on Documentation and Time Management

As a benefit of membership, HCAF provides agencies with In-Home Aides-Partners in Quality Care, a monthly publication that addresses relevant topics for home health aides. Topics addressed in In-Home Aides-Partners in Quality Care have included quality, aging, safety, teamwork, falls prevention and more.

The October 2012 edition addresses documentation and time management, about which aides will learn to:

  • What it means to observe, record, report
  • Tips for documentation
  • Time management tips

Each edition of In-Home Aides-Partners in Quality Care is packed with useful information on the month’s topic as well as a post-test (answer key included) for home health aides so they can earn one hour towards the 12 hours-per-year Medicare requirement!
