Florida Department of Health hosts Webinars on New Approach to Nursing License Renewal

As the Florida Nurses move through the license renewal cycle expiring April 30, 2014 the Florida Department of Health will be hosting weekly webinars titled:

The Florida Department of Health’s Continuing Education Integration Project Overview

Although not all of Florida’s Nurses expire April 30, 2014 (Florida has four groups of Nurses expiring at different times) all licensees will be included in this project and all will benefit from participating in a webinar.

The webinar features the Department’s new approach to license renewal.  Participants will learn how the Department will review continuing education records at the time of license renewal.  You will see a demonstration of the continuing education tracking system, including how to create a free basic account, view course history and report continuing education completion into the tracking system.
